Course Description

The SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) is critical to the product manager and system architect trio that leads Agile Release Trains (ARTs). This position is responsible for building the right environment, having crucial conversations, facilitating virtual meetings, and bringing together the right people to make decisions based on accurate data.

Certification Assessments

All participants completing the SAFe® Release Train Engineer Certification course will receive a password to attempt the Certification Training assessment for the same. The participants need to attempt the SAFe® Release Train Engineer assessment within 30 days of receiving their free password and score at least 78% to pass the exam in order to get certified.

Take the 3-day SAFe® 5.1 Release Train Engineer course instructed by SAFe® Program Consultant Trainers (SPCTs). It costs you around 202L where you will learn the concept of SAFe® Agile Methodology.

Yes, This certification needs to be renewed every year.

SAFe certifications are valid for one year and include membership in the SAFe Community Platform. After the first year, individuals may renew their certification at the process specified in the link below.

While there is no eligibility criterion for attending the SAFe® 6.0 RTE workshop, participants who wish to take the SAFe® RTE exam must have at least:
  • RTEs and STE’s who have experience with few PI’s
  • Scrum Masters who are part of Program Increments, and aspiring for RTE role
