This course is designed to help Certified ScrumMasters enhance their skills in enabling effective communication between the Product Owner, Development Team, customers, stakeholders, and executives. It provides the necessary competency to overcome resistance to change and lack of engagement from the involved individuals.
An experienced Certified Advanced Scrum Trainer conducts this 2-day A-CSM training and classroom workshop. It will build expertise in Lean, Agile, and Scrum principles, enabling you to scale Scrum and Agile methodologies while polishing your coaching abilities. Additionally, this certification course will equip you to scale Agile and Scrum practices across multiple teams, establishing yourself as an Agile expert.
There are no criteria to attend the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster® (A-CSM®) Training course. Scrum Masters, Team Leaders, Development Managers, Delivery Managers, Project Managers, and Agile Coaches can attend the A-CSM certification training.
This topic covers Lean, Agile, and Scrum fundamentals, highlighting their alignment with the Agile Manifesto. It explores Scrum and Agile history, compares other Lean/Agile approaches like Kanban and XP and addresses common challenges. Additionally, we will explore empirical process control, focusing on transparency, inspection, and adaptation to enhance Scrum practices effectively.
In this topic, we will learn about core Scrum Master competencies. The Scrum Master acts as a teacher to educate team members on Scrum principles and practices, mentors individual team members, facilitates Scrum events, sets the stage for collaboration, and acts as a coach to help the client and the organization maximize their capabilities.
Learn about Self-Organization, Team Dynamics, the Definition of “Done,” and the Value of Development Practices. You will explore challenges and countermeasures for self-organizing teams, attributes and methods for team performance, creating and improving the Definition of “Done,” and the impact and benefits of development practices in a multi-team environment.
This topic is about creating or improving the product vision, moving from a product vision to a Product Backlog, and refining the Product Backlog with stakeholders or team members. We’ll also explore how to create a Product Backlog that supports the achievements of a Product Goal.

You will learn to analyze impediments, practice resolution, recognize scaling approaches, and identify techniques for managing dependencies. The topic covers the benefits and drawbacks of feature and component teams, the nature of complex systems, and frameworks for catalyzing organizational change.
This topic will cover Personal Development and Servant-Leadership. You will learn to analyze your fulfillment of Scrum values, driving factors, and conflict response patterns. You will learn to recognize destructive conflict, compare response alternatives, and express the attributes of an effective servant-leader. The topic also involves demonstrating servant-leadership attributes.

You would need to have attended a certified A-CSM educational offering, and successfully completed all educator-designed components of the training including pre-and post-course work
Once you have achieved the A-CSM® certification, you can further enhance your Scrum master skills by pursuing the following credentials
Step 1: Take the 2-day A-CSM® course from a Global Registered Education Provider of Scrum Alliance. After you successfully complete the course, you will receive a welcome email from Scrum Alliance.
Step 2: Click on the link you received from Scrum Alliance and activate your Scrum Alliance certification account.
Step 3: You will then be requested to accept a license agreement. Validate at least 12 months of Scrum Master experience (within the past five years).
Step 4: On validating your Scrum Master experience, you will be able to instantly download your A-CSM® certification instantly!
To obtain the A-CSM® certification, you would need to attend two days of training under a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST®) and complete all educator-designed components of the approved educational offering. This may include pre- and/or post-course work to complete the learning objectives.
After satisfactorily completing the course and provided you have validated 12 months of Scrum Master work experience within the past five years, you would be able to download your A-CSM® certification as soon as you accept the License Agreement with Scrum Alliance.
As a result of the engagement and contributions of those who share their ideas and practical experiences in the workplace, the Scrum framework continues to evolve. Scrum Alliance places an emphasis on the learning journey and requires you to take measures to keep yourself abreast of the latest best practices, tools and techniques in Scrum.
Renewal of your certification validates your Scrum proficiency and demonstrates your interest in the growth and evolution of Scrum.
You would need to renew your A-CSM® certification every 2 years. The cost for renewal is $175, which extends the credential for a further period of 2 years from the date of your current expiration.
In order to renew your Scrum Master certification, you would need to:A-CSMs are also required to earn 30 Scrum Educational Units (SEUs) within the past two years, in addition to the $175 renewal fee. You can earn the required SEUs by completing an educational training or a learning opportunity.
