Course Description

The Agile Project and Delivery Management certification in China verify that the holder possesses the skills for successful Lean and Agile product delivery using various approaches, including projects and value streams. Designers will be able to identify dependencies and blockers, enable rapid feedback and learning, and facilitate incremental value delivery.

This ICP-APM course in China introduces core agile concepts such as servant leadership, adaptive planning, frequent feedback for learning, and a focus on value-driven versus plan-driven delivery.

Learning outcomes focus on delivering the right products through empowering people, aligning on value, and managing the system to enable high performance and adaptive planning at all portfolio levels.

There are many different frameworks and approaches to delivery management. This course does not endorse one over another. Instead, we encourage you to learn about the various approaches and appropriately apply them to the context you are in.

Planning for incremental delivery, release planning, splitting work into MMFs/MVPs, estimating and forecasting.
Risk identification, proactive mitigation, and using cost-of-delay for prioritisation.

Team design (T-shaped skills), Tuckman stages, team norms, team charter, remote vs colocated teams, and techniques for building trust and psychological safety.
Servant leadership, coaching patterns, and the role of Scrum Master/Delivery Lead.

Flow metrics, lead time, throughput, cycle time, and dashboards for monitoring Agile maturity.
